I got my anole lizard, Tiamat, back, even though she died when I was eight.I made a little cardboard house for her on the floor. It was painted purple and blue. My mom wasn’t happy that I had her again, and she told me to make sure she didn’t get lost in the house. I wasn’t worried about losing her. I had some sort of tracking device to see where she was when she was under and in things.
Later I took her to school. I kept having to find her with the tracking device. I left and came back after a while, and I was walking by the stairwell near the cafeteria, and there were a bunch of people in the hallway, including Ciara and Abigail, and Tiamat was squished flat on the floor. Someone had stepped on her and she died. I wanted to cry. I said “this is the second time [that she died],” and Ciara sort of laughed. I left and came back again, and Ciara, Abigail, and a couple other girls had taped Tiamat down to the floor with a giant piece of clear tape to that she was laminated to the ground. They drew flowers on it and wrote “Here lies Tiffany.” Abigail told me they had decided her name was Tiffany. I told her that her name wasn’t Tiffany, it was Tiamat.
There was also a part of the dream with Andrew and his family. Andrew’s mom was talking about the plot of a movie and she seemed slightly upset by the way the story went. That triggered a “memory,” from “real life,” about Mike saying that Andrew’s entire family, including their dogs, looked exactly alike. The dogs were little and brown. (This wasn’t a real memory, but in the dream I thought it was. Also, Andrew only has one dog, and he’s actually big and orange.)
Throughout the dream, I kept thinking about blogging about the dream and about the picture I was going to post with it. I decided that the obvious choice would be to find a picture of an anole lizard and post that. So here it is:

Mine wasn't so green. She was more brownish.
If your lizard is not turning green put it on green leaves
well she’s dead now, so you know.
